The pre-course revision element has been designed for the student to use as a self study programme to refresh and consolidate their Day Skipper theory knowledge as required. The Coastal Yachtmaster course takes approximately 50-60 hours with a long assessment of 3 parts (IRPCS:1.5 hours, Passage Making A:1.5 hours and Passage Making B:2 hours). These can be taken in one sitting or as 3 separate papers.
Theory pack containing: RYA Training Carts, RYA Exercises Booklet, RYA Yachtmaster shorebased notes, RYA Training Almanac, A plotter and dividers set.
Successful completion of this course will earn you the RYA Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Offshore Theory certificate.
